President Volodymyr Zelensky has offered Ihor Klymenko the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and the relevant appointment decree is already being prepared.
As Ukrinform reports, Zelensky announced this on Facebook.
The President said he held a meeting with Klymenko and expressed gratitude for his work in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"There have been many difficult challenges, and the response has always been effective. Ihor Klymenko will continue working for Ukraine in the field of protecting our state and people. I offered him the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The relevant appointment decree is already in preparation," the head of state noted.
Zelensky emphasized that the main priority is maximum effective coordination among all components of the security and defense sector and daily control over the implementation of decisions.
