Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, with three commissioners leaving the State Executive Council and new nominees forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, announced the development in a statement released on Friday.

He described the move as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery in the state.

According to the statement, the Commissioner for Commerce, Industries and Investment, Mohammed Salis Gamawa, and the immediate past Commissioner for Education, Dr Lawal Rimin Zayam, who was later redeployed to the Ministry of Power, Science and Technology, have been relieved of their appointments.
