Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov does not see himself in the role of an advisor to the President, but will remain on his team.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Dmytro Lytvyn, the president’s communications advisor, told reporters this.
“Mykhailo himself said that he does not see himself as an advisor to the president or in some of the other positions they discussed, but, of course, they share a common interest in working together as a team,” Lytvyn said.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 14, the Verkhovna Rada approved the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. Along with her, the entire government automatically resigned.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov thanked the Ukrainian people for the honor of serving and reported on key technological and systemic changes in the military during his tenure.
