Shoppers could create their own ice creams, milkshakes and more with the supermarket appliance.The well-known brand Ninja is selling its original Creami device for £199.99. Meanwhile, Lidl's Silvercrest Premium Freezy Ice Cream Maker hit shelves on Thursday, July 16, for £69.99 - costing £130 less than the usual price of a Ninja product with similar functions.Lidl's kitchen gadget has six options, as well as programs which add extra toppings throughout or give treats another spin in the machine to smooth out the consistency. With the three cups provided, Lidl says customers can prepare their mixtures in advance and blitz their frozen tubs into.The machine includes a short recipe booklet, giving customers a chance to get to know it before getting truly creative with their combinations. The Middle of Lidl has been packed with modern kitchen appliances, including air fryers, juicers, electric mixers and more.The release matches a similar device sold in Aldi stores across the UK. The other budget supermarket has brought out its AMBIANO Ice Cream Machine, also on sale for £69.99.Aldi said: "Create delicious homemade ice cream, sorbet, milkshakes and even frozen cocktails with this must-have summer appliance.
