BMW has recalled more than 26,000 of its SUVs and cars, including some plug-in hybrids, due to a fire risk.
An updated recall notice posted June 10 covers seven models spanning from 2021 to 2026, according to Transport Canada. The notice said that the fire risk comes from some vehicles having an improperly manufactured engine starter which could cause the car to overheat.
