Air Defense Forces have shot down five guided aerial bombs and 115 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine since the evening of July 16. Ten enemy weapons hit multiple locations.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
As noted, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, the Russians launched one Kh-31P anti-radar missile, seven Kh-59/69 precision-guided missiles, and 130 Shahed-type combat drones, including jet-powered drones, Gerbera UAVs, Italmas, and Parodiya-type decoy drones.
The missiles were launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea, while the drones were launched from areas near the Russian settlements of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, and Orel, as well as from the temporarily occupied towns of Hvardiiske (Crimea) and Donetsk.
The enemy attack was repelled by the Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
