Iron Capital has been named Nigeria’s best investment bank for financing solutions at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, a recognition that underscores the growing prominence of indigenous financial advisory firms in the country’s capital markets.

The Lagos-based investment banking and asset management firm said Friday it received the award for its work in structuring financing transactions, including infrastructure bonds, capital market issuances and debt deals.

The recognition comes as Nigerian companies and governments increasingly turn to the domestic debt market to fund infrastructure and refinance obligations amid elevated borrowing costs and tighter global financial conditions.

Chief Executive Officer Jubril Enakele said the award reflects the firm’s focus on delivering complex cross-border financing solutions tailored to African markets.

“We do not measure our legacy simply by the passage of time, but by the transformative impact of the capital we structure,” Enakele said in a statement.
