Over the past 24 hours, on July 16, 249 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front lines. The most intense enemy attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared an update on Facebook regarding the situation on July 17, at 8:00 a.m.
The enemy launched one missile strike, using eight missiles, and carried out 85 airstrikes, dropping 265 guided bombs.
In addition, the Russians deployed 9,920 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,110 shelling attacks, including 31 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck 18 areas where Russian troops were concentrated and two other key targets.
