An hour after Kris Jenner announced that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, had died at the age of 91, she took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to the grandmother she described as her “best friend”, “gossip buddy” and “forever twin”.
Sharing a collection of pictures of them over the years, Kim reflected on the woman who gave her her first job, shaped her work ethic and became one of the biggest influences in her life.
“My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin… You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we’ll carry with us forever!!!!!” Kim wrote.
