SynopsisIndia’s fourth-largest IT services exporter missed both profit and revenue estimates. An ET poll of brokerages had forecast a revenue of Rs 24,731 crore and net profit of Rs 3,464 crore for the quarter ended June. Brokerages, on an average, expected a 12% year-on-year growth in revenue, with a gain of 2% in net profit.Wipro reported a near-flat 0.6% year-on-year rise in its net profit for the first quarter of FY27 to Rs. 3,352 crore, missing estimates as continued geopolitical uncertainties and wage hikes weighed on its performance.
