Republican Senators Thom Tillis and John Cornyn indicated that Blanche should meet with Epstein survivors, with Tillis making it a condition for his confirmation vote. In a statement to The Independent, a DOJ spokesperson said that Blanche “was able to rearrange his schedule” and offered to meet with Epstein victims in the Capitol, “as everyone was in the same location.” “Unfortunately, after heading to the meeting room, the Acting AG was informed that the victims were unable to attend, so the meeting was rescheduled for this afternoon.
