World Skydiving Day Sets New Record as Skydivers Unite Across the Globe
Previous record of 30,351 jumps surpassed with 31,075 skydives taking place in a single day on Saturday, July 11, 2026
The U.S. Parachute Association (USPA), Australian Parachute Federation, British Skydiving and Canadian Sport Parachuting Association are proud to announce that the third annual World Skydiving Day, held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, set a new record for the most recorded skydives completed in a single day.
A total of 31,075 skydives were reported from 43 countries around the world, surpassing the previous record of 30,351 jumps established in 2024. The record-breaking effort united first-time tandem students and experienced skydivers alike in a worldwide celebration of the sport and its growing global community.
“Records are made to be broken, and we’re excited that tens of thousands of people from around the world were able to make their way to a drop zone and celebrate our sport,” said USPA Executive Director Albert Berchtold. “This record signifies the continued growth of the sport, welcoming newcomers and celebrating experienced skydivers who have made a significant commitment to skydiving.”
