Ukraine’s parliament on Thursday approved the appointment of Naftogaz state energy boss Serhii Koretskyii as the new prime minister, part of a disputed government reshuffle ordered by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Koretskyi, 48, is seen by Zelenskyy as a manager who can lead the country through another tough winter set to be marked by relentless Russian strikes on the energy system.
