MANILA, Philippines – Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco is reentering the Philippine market as it expands its fuel retail network.

The group officially opened its first branded gasoline station in the country on Thursday, servicing motorists in Parañaque City.

This came eight months after it acquired a 25 percent stake in Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc., a local oil firm with about 160 retail stations and storage facilities.
