A video of a Metrorail commuter claiming that she was roughed up by security guards because she didn’t return their colleague's ‘flirtatious’ greeting has gone viral on social media.
As the tears streamed across her cheeks, Lumka Mbele shared how she was harassed on her regular trip from Cape Town to Strand on Monday, July 13.
Mbele said that the peace she had always experienced on the train was ruined.
An emotional Mbele explained: “Ever since I’ve been taking the Cape Town to Strand train, I’ve been getting nothing but abuse from security guards on the Prasa train.
