RIYADH: Saudi Arabia on Thursday condemned Iran’s continued and unjustified attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.

Kuwait and Bahrain faced renewed aerial attacks from Iran on Thursday, their militaries said, as Tehran and Washington exchanged strikes in a battle for control of the vital Strait of Hormuz. Jordan has also been targeted in recent days.

In a statement, the foreign ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with these nations regarding the measures they take in response to “brutal Iranian aggressions.”

The Kingdom also reiterated its condemnation of Iran’s actions that threaten regional security and stability and violate the principles of international law and the norms of good neighborliness, the statement added.

It also emphasized the importance of an immediate halt to all forms of military escalation, a return to dialogue, and the resolution of disputes through diplomatic means.
