Though they have been married for six years, the actress, who played Silver Surfer in Marvel's Fantastic Four and Anna Delvey in Netflix's Inventing Anna, first sparked break-up rumours last month.Whilst on the set of new thriller Tyrant in New York in June, alongside Charlize Theron and Demi Moore, Garner was pictured without her wedding ring. She and Foster were last seen together at Vogue World's afterparty in October 2025.According to People, the two have now separated. The publication stated that a source had confirmed the news to them following the split rumours. The Mirror went to representatives for Garner and Foster for comment.Garner and Foster first met in 2013 but didn't start dating until years later, when they reconnected over Instagram. Garner told the Hollywood reporter that Foster had been liking her pictures when she decided to follow his account, after which he sent her message.It was on a trip to Montana when Foster proposed. The singer and keyboardist proposed after having written his then-girlfriend a poem. Garner told Vogue: "He read me a poem he had written to me, and when he finished, he dropped to a knee and asked me to marry him."The pair married in December 2019 at a courthouse in New York City, the same one Garner's parents had married at four years earlier. Whilst celebrating their marriage, Foster surprised Garner with an original song called 'Lovers in a Stream'.Garner described the song as "the most beautiful present" she'd ever gotten and said she felt like she was "floating up in the air", calling the moment "magical".Foster and Garner have both celebrated their marriage milestones over the years but many of these posts have since been deleted. Foster's post about their second wedding anniversary was deleted when he removed all posts on his Instagram from before 2024. Garner's tribute on their third anniversary was also deleted.Away from her love life, Garner's career has flourished. She appeared as Ruth Langmore in Ozark from 2017-2022, a role for which she won a Golden Globe and three Emmys.
