J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (NASDAQ:JBHT) on Wednesday posted better-than-expected second-quarter earnings.JB Hunt Transport reported quarterly earnings of $1.91 per share, which beat the analyst estimate of $1.71 by 11.7%, according to Benzinga Pro data. Quarterly revenue came in at $3.5 billion, which beat the Street estimate of $3.24 billion and was up from $2.93 billion in the same period last year."I’m grateful for our people and their continued focus on delivering operational excellence around service, safety and cost discipline in this dynamic environment," said CEO Shelley Simpson.JB Hunt shares rose 7.5% to $297.10 in pre-market trading.These analysts made changes to their price targets on JB Hunt following earnings announcement.
Baird analyst Daniel Moore maintained the stock with an Outperform rating and raised the price target from $290 to $320.
Barclays analyst Brandon Oglenski maintained the stock with an Equal-Weight rating and raised the price target from $270 to $300.
