The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, and his Social Democratic Party counterpart, Adewole Adebayo, have mourned the death of the founder of All Christians Fellowship Mission, Rev. Dr. William Okoye.
The presidential candidates described Okoye as a devoted servant of God whose life was dedicated to faith, integrity and national transformation.
Okoye, a former chaplain at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, died recently, drawing tributes from political, religious and public figures across the country.
In a condolence message shared on his X handle on Thursday, Obi described the late cleric as an elder brother whose ministry inspired countless people to live lives of purpose and righteousness.
He wrote, “I received the news of the homegoing of my elder brother, Rev. Dr. William Okoye, with profound sadness.
