British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on July 16 during his final week in office, reaffirming that the United Kingdom's "cast-iron support for Ukraine will always endure."

According to Ukrinform, the UK government stated this on its website.

Ahead of the visit, Starmer said that the resilience of the Ukrainian people since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022 "has preserved the security of Europe."

The Prime Minister is expected to meet President Zelensky to discuss progress made in equipping Ukraine to continue resisting Russia's illegal invasion, as well as priorities for allied support going forward.

The UK government stated that, having played a key role in building international coalitions, providing military assistance, and establishing long-term security partnerships, Starmer would reassure President Zelensky that Britain's commitment to Ukraine remains steadfast.
