He nailed the changes against Croatia in our World Cup opener and secured one of the great wins in Mexico only last week.‌But against Argentina it all unravelled and much of the blame is being laid firmly at Tuchel's doorstep. His changes, when England took the lead, were largely negative and defensive. England invited the pressure and couldn't hold on.‌Tuchel was handed a contract extension by the FA before even going to a major tournament, which keeps him in the job for the foreseeable. He himself has claimed the England gig is his dream job.But England looked like they hadn't learnt from their 2018 World Cup semi-final - despite reaching the latter stages numerous times since.
