Ukraine's Security Service (SSU), in cooperation with the Ukrainian Navy, struck the Russian shadow fleet tankers Louise 1 and Banda in the Black Sea.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this on its website.
The attack was carried out using Mamai naval drones.
The SSU stated that Louise 1, which is under Ukrainian sanctions, has been involved in transporting Russian crude oil in violation of the G7 and EU oil embargo. The vessel carried oil from Russian ports in the Baltic and Black Seas while disabling its Automatic Identification System (AIS). In 2026 alone, it transported nearly three million tonnes of Russian Urals crude.
The tanker Banda also transported Russian crude oil from the ports of Ust-Luga, Kerch, Novorossiysk, and Nakhodka.
