Apple today launched its Back to School deal for 2026. Students can get a gift card worth up to $150 with the purchase of a MacBook Pro. $100 gift cards are available with the purchase of MacBook Air, iPad Pro, and iPad Air.
As is typical, you can usually save more money than the $150 gift card included in Apple’s promo by buying a new Mac from Amazon. However, it can still represent a reasonable deal for students who want to buy from the Apple Store directly.
The 2026 Back to School deal runs from today through August 27, 2026, in the United States. Similar deals in other international markets will also be launching soon.
The gift card deal combines with the typical education discount on Apple’s laptops. That means students can buy a MacBook Air for $1199 ($100 lower than the standard retail price), and get a $100 gift card to spend on something else at Apple in the future.
