An alert for those who area already in, or who are travelling to, Algarve reads: "We wanted to let you know that the Annual Motorcycle Rally held by Moto Clube Faro is taking place in Faro (the Algarve) on July 16 2026 until July 19 2026. This could result in increased traffic around the airport.‌"If you're affected, please allow extra time for your journey to the airport as we're operating all our flights as scheduled. Please arrive at the airport at least two hours before your departure time." Jet2 has also reminded passengers that check-in closes 40 minutes before a flight is scheduled to take off.‌A second alert aimed at those who are in or who will be travelling to Madeira explains that the Annual Motorcycle Rally will take place in Funchal on Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19. Jet2 said: "As a result, road closures and traffic disruption is expected in and around the area."Again, passengers are reminded to set off earlier than usual, with Jet2 adding: "We're operating all our flights as scheduled. Please arrive at the airport at least two hours before your departure time.
