South African chef and entrepreneur Pashi Reddy is bringing his love of food and storytelling together in "The Road to Kali: An Unorthodox Foodoir", an upcoming literary memoir and cookbook set for release by the end of this month.

Those are the words of South African chef and entrepreneur Pashi Reddy, whose long-awaited literary memoir and cookbook, “The Road to Kali: An Unorthodox Foodoir”, is finally set for release by the end of this month after spending six years waiting for what he believes was the perfect moment.
Reddy first began writing the 350-page book in 2020 during South Africa's first Covid-19 lockdown. As the world slowed down, he set himself one mission: preserve family memories before they disappeared.
Over the next year, he completed the manuscript, which blends more than 85 family recipes with stories, memories and photographs, all of which he personally cooked, styled and photographed while confined to his home.
