Sonam Wangchuk joined the protest protest began on June 28, eight days after CJP announced they would continue to sit in at Jantar Mantar till Dharmendra Pradhan steps down. CJP, which was launched by Boston University graduate Abhijeet Dipke on May 16 as a satirical reactionary outfit in response to a remark by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, went on to become a massive youth movement on social media and offline with its demand of education minister's resignation owing to the repeated irregularities found in major national examinations.
