The Southern Kaduna People's Union (SOKAPU) has called on the Nigeria Police Force to carry out a thorough, transparent and impartial investigation into the death of 26-year-old Mary Habila, who died at the residence of the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, in Ebonyi State.

In a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by its Vice President II, Bello Hosea Bissalla, and General Secretary, Jerry Andrew, the union urged the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, to ensure that every aspect of the case is properly investigated.
