As Lukhanyo Am continues his journey back to the Springbok setup, he does so with the clear-cut knowledge that serious competition awaits him, especially with the 2027 Rugby World Cup looming on the horizon.

“I think all the young guys coming through now are playing really well,” Am said.

“It's great to be in a team environment where we can challenge each other.”

Am was speaking at FNB Stadium, where Castle Double Malt was officially announced as the title partner for ‘Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry’—the new commercial banner for the historic, fierce clashes between the Springboks and the All Blacks.
