Nokia has expanded its existing 5G partnership with Taiwan Mobile as part of plans to support the carrier's AI push.
This will see network vendor Nokia support the modernization of Taiwan Mobile's 5G network to better support the demands of AI.

As part of this agreement, Nokia will provide its latest AirScale portfolio, including next-gen baseband and radio solutions, and advanced software capabilities to enhance Taiwan Mobile’s existing network infrastructure and enable new 5G services and monetization opportunities
Nokia, of course, has its own ambitions to embed AI within its Radio Access Network (AI RAN) across mobile networks. The company is working extensively with GPU giant Nvidia to build automated networks to support the increasing AI traffic.
