Approval ratings for President Donald Trump are near record lows, with the continuation of the Middle East conflict in Iran and subsequent high gas prices failing to win over voters.

A new Economist/YouGov poll finds that most voters believe going to war with Iran was the wrong decision, which weighed on the overall approval rating for Trump.
Trump’s approval rating in the poll stood at 37%, with a disapproval rating of 59%. The remaining 4% said they were unsure.
The poll finds that 57% of voters say the war was the wrong decision, while 27% support the war. The remaining 16% of voters said they were not sure.
