The death toll from a Russian strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia at around 16:00 on Wednesday has risen to three, while the number of injured has increased to 15.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"There are now three people dead and fifteen injured. The number of casualties resulting from the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia continues to rise," Fedorov wrote.

According to the report, those requiring medical assistance range in age from 28 to 77 years old.
