The Argentina men’s national football team is set to take on England in the World Cup 2026 semifinal on Wednesday. The match will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and is set to kick off at 4 p.m. Argentina time.
Argentina will go out with Emiliano Dibu Martínez in goal and a back four of Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martínez and Nicolás Tagliafico.
The biggest change for the Albiceleste will come in midfield, where Giuliano Simeone will take over from Rodrigo de Paul on the right, according to Argentine national team expert journalist Esteban Edul.
Head coach Lionel Scaloni hinted at potential changes in his Tuesday press conference.
“We might make some changes based on our opponent,” he said. “The idea is to field our best lineup. The guys are all fit.”
