Eric Stonestreet is sharing some insight into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden.

In an interview with People magazine, the Modern Family star praised the ceremony as being “awesome,” with he and his wife Lindsay Schweitzer initially staying mum on the proceedings to be “very conscious of being respectful to the couple.”

“I didn’t want to peep before. I didn’t want to peep after. And then once people started putting stuff out there, of course we were proud to be invited,” he said.

Stonestreet, who is a diehard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, knows Kelce “very well” and recalled once presenting Swift with an award at the 2012 American Music Awards.

“We’ve seen Travis from when he was drafted, and we’ve seen him through different phases of his life,” Stonestreet said. “So when they started dating, we were so happy for him. But we were also happy for Taylor because we know what kind of human being Travis is. So we were excited to celebrate their love with them and a few other people in New York City, and it was just a treat to be there.”
