Yellow-orange haze has blanketed Toronto since early Wednesday morning, as the impacts of raging wildfires in other parts of the province drift over with the wind.
Is this the apocalypse? Have we somehow woken up on Mars? Are we on the set of The Martian? Did someone turn on a Sepia filter?
Fortunately, no. But you’re not mistaken, Toronto’s skies have indeed turned orange on Wednesday, for a slightly more plausible (and still unfortunate) reason: wildfire smoke.
