July 15 (UPI) -- House Republicans on Wednesday released a $95 billion framework for a reconciliation package to provide funding for defense and intelligence, farm aid, and election-related efforts.

The framework includes $60 billion for military, $13 billion for intelligence and $12 billion for farm assistance. Politico reported it would also allow for $10 billion to be spent on state voter-ID laws as outlined by the SAVE America Act being pushed by President Donald Trump.

House Republicans are hoping to push the budget through reconciliation in an effort to bypass a potential filibuster by Democrats in the Senate; reconciliations need only a simple majority in the Senate to pass. They're also hoping to get the process done before the November midterm elections, when they could lose control in Congress.

House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, scheduled a markup meeting on the proposal for Thursday morning.
