Specialty coffee company Pour Over Coffee Roasters has introduced its exclusive Colombian Collection in India, featuring distinctive lots from Colombia’s renowned coffee-growing regions. The collection features exceptional coffees from Huila, a region globally recognised for its outstanding coffee quality, biodiversity and innovation. Among the highlights is the Papayo Natural, one of the world’s rarest coffee varieties, with an impressive SCA cup score of 87, the company said in a statement.Papayo Natural offers notes of mango, pineapple, tropical fruits and berries, complemented by a juicy, silky body and bright acidity. It is known for its vibrant and expressive profile. The variety gained international recognition after being selected by a World Barista Champion for the competition stage. The Colombian Blend Natural, scoring 86 points on the SCA scale, delivers a complex cup layered with red fruits, cacao and wine-like sweetness, finishing smooth and rounded. The collection also includes the Indo-Colombian Blend, which brings together premium Indian and Colombian Arabicas, balancing tropical fruit brightness with rich cacao and berry notes to create a complex yet approachable coffee experience.Ritika Sharma, Founder, Pour Over Coffee Roasters said, “At Pour Over, we have always believed that great coffee begins long before it reaches the roastery. It begins on farms, in conversations, in relationships and in the exchange of knowledge between the people who grow coffee and the people who serve it. Our Colombian Collection is the result of that belief. Rather than sourcing coffee through catalogues and intermediaries, we spent time with producers, understood processing techniques and immersed ourselves in one of the world’s most influential coffee cultures. What we discovered was more than exceptional coffee. We discovered producers pushing the boundaries of fermentation and processing, generations of farming knowledge and a culture that treats coffee not simply as a commodity, but as a craft. Every lot in this collection was selected because it represented something unique: a producer, a process, a variety or a story worth sharing.”“Our intention is to bring a piece of Colombia’s coffee culture to our community in India. This launch is not about importing coffee from another country. It is about building a bridge between origin and cup, between producer and consumer, and between Colombia and India. We wanted to go beyond traceability and direct trade, and create a deeper connection through coffee.”With this collection, Pour Over Coffee Roasters aims to introduce Indian coffee enthusiasts to the new wave of Colombian specialty coffee blending innovation with tradition. They are available for a very limited time at all Pour Over outlets across Khan Market, Santushti Complex Chanakyapuri, Noida and McLeodganj.Published on July 15, 2026
