Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu,Grammy-winning singer popularly known as Burna Boy, has added another milestone to his career after “Dai Dai,” the official FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
According to Billboard, it is the first official FIFA World Cup anthem to top both charts since they launched in 2020. The song features Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll,Colombian singer popularly known as Shakira, and was written by Burna Boy, Shakira, Ed sheeran,Jon Bellion and other collaborators. Burna Boy and Shakira are also scheduled to perform at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show which is reported to last for 30 minutes.
Burna Boy was among top music artists who recently performed at the Afro Nation 2026 in Portugal drawing in over 40,000 fans.
According to Touring Data, Burna Boy’s “I Told Them…” Tour (2023–2024) is the highest-grossing tour generating $30.46 million from 22 reported shows. The tour sold 302,801 tickets, averaging 13,764 tickets per show, with an average ticket price of $100.61 and an average gross of $1.38 million per show.
