Premier Doug Ford‘s Progressive Conservatives are moving to eliminate a loophole that allows GTA MPPs to claim expenses in the city after a minister and government MPPs spent thousands on hotel rooms.
Government house leader Steve Clark wrote to speaker Donna Skelly on Wednesday and said he would be moving a motion at the all-party committee that runs the legislature to scrap the “special circumstances” expense.
