A Nigerian music executive and entrepreneur, Ubi Franklin, has advised young men against having children with multiple women, describing it as one of the worst decisions they could make.
Franklin gave the advice in an episode of his podcast, Talks with Ubi Franklin, published on Wednesday, where he reflected on his personal experience and urged young people to learn from his mistakes.
Addressing his audience, he said, “Hello, my young brothers, this is for you. My name is Ubi Franklin, and I want to have a conversation with you.”
He continued, “One of the worst decisions you can ever make is to have kids with different women. I’ll tell you, I’m one of those people who are in it, and we can tell you that no matter the money that you think you have, no matter what you think you’re doing, trust me, that should never be a decision you’re going to make in your life.”
Franklin explained that while financial responsibility is important, managing relationships with the mothers of the children can be far more challenging.
