That's why changing rooms are so important – you can try before you buy, and it saves you from traipsing back to the store to return something when you're not feeling the outfit you thought would be cute.‌This is the reason a shopper is "begging" Tesco to bring changing rooms back. After all, fashion fans want to try their hauls on before they fork out £100 on stuff that doesn't fit well, and have to wait for a refund.‌Customer Christie asked Tesco to "please listen" because the shorts she recently bought were "not okay". She took to TikTok to argue: "This is a prime example of why we need the changing rooms back at Tesco".‌The shopper wanted to "start a petition" to get changing rooms back because "we don't wanna be stripping off on the shop floor, we don't wanna have to then bring the clothes home and take them back and wait for our refund".Content cannot be displayed without consentChristie said it would've saved her "a bit of hassle" not to buy the shorts she had on in the video and to have had the opportunity to try them out first.‌"I don't know what's going on with these," she complained, as she stepped back to reveal a pair of shorts so baggy they almost looked like a skirt.She definitely wouldn't have taken them home with her if she'd had the chance to try them on in the store, since she wasn't keen on the fit.Christie said: "I do normally try clothes on on the shop floor, but it was too hot today and I wasn't dressed to be able to do it."‌The Tesco customer wasn't alone with her plea – as fellow shoppers rallied behind the same cause. In the comments of the video, someone wrote: "100% we need them back. It annoys me so much. Just bring them back".Another agreed, commenting: "I don’t buy things most of the time from Sainsbury’s and Tesco because I can't be bothered having to take them back".And a third added: "It’s so annoying, I had to buy two sizes of one item last week so I could try them on at home. I always get stared at but don’t care."When contacted about customers' changing room requests, Tesco said it welcomes feedback on the matter. While fitting room trials are underway, it's also worth remembering that customers can return F&F clothing within 30 days with their proof of purchase.
