MANILA, Philippines – Power bills may increase slightly this July as higher reserve costs push up transmission charges, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said Wednesday.
In a media briefing, Julius Ryan Datingaling, NGCP head of business and regulatory development, said the overall transmission rate rose 0.77 percent to P1.4604 per kWh in June from P1.4492 per kWh in May.
