The EES kiosks where passengers can check in, are pictured at St Pancras International Train Station station in London - they are not currently in use and are not expected to be until after the summer.

The rollout of Europe's EES biometric border system is supposed to be fully implemented, but for travellers heading between France and the UK via Dover, the Eurotunnel or Eurostar the situation is slightly different.
