Saudi Arabia, Japan deepen strategic dialogue on economic security and future partnership
TOKYO: Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Japan Dr. Ghazi Faisal Binzagr met recently with Japan’s Economic Security Minister Kimi Onada for wide-ranging discussions on Riyadh and Tokyo’s evolving partnership and cooperation in strategic sectors shaping the global economy.
The officials explored prospects for closer collaboration in economic security, artificial intelligence, space, advanced technologies, and innovation.
And highlighted the growing importance of culture and creative industries as drivers of economic resilience, national competitiveness, and long-term prosperity.
The discussions reflected the increasingly comprehensive nature of Saudi-Japanese relations as both countries continue to diversify their partnership beyond its traditional foundations.
