Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) criticized President Donald Trump’s handling of the Iran conflict, arguing that the prolonged military campaign lacks a clear objective, has put U.S. troops at risk and increased economic pressure on American families.

Schumer Slams Trump’s Iran War Strategy On Tuesday, Schumer took to X to accuse Trump of failing to develop a strategy for ending the conflict, saying the administration entered the war without a clear path forward.

"Trump has no clue what he’s doing in Iran, and it’s a recipe for utter disaster," he wrote.

He added, "He had no plan and no exit strategy on day 1 of this reckless war.

We’re on day 136, and nothing has changed." The Democratic leader also criticized Trump for not following congressional efforts aimed at ending U.S. involvement.
