Attalon, Inc., an independent U.S.-based defense technology company delivering directed energy, optical, coating, and thermal solutions for mission critical platforms, today announced a major expansion of its U.S. manufacturing footprint with an 80,000 sq. ft. facility opening in Summer 2027. This site will more than quadruple Attalon’s Precision Coatings output, consolidate its domestic crystal-growth operations under one roof, and serve as the company’s new headquarters – directly answering the munitions shortage straining the U.S. defense supply chain.

With more than a century of heritage in precision coatings, Attalon is scaling its capacity to ensure reliable, high volume, U.S.-based manufacturing of the coatings and materials foundational to modern guided weapons, munitions, and advanced tactical systems. The facility dedicates 60,000 sq. ft. of high-tech manufacturing space and will increase Attalon’s coating output by more than four times current capacity. Attalon is committing over $30 million to the site and advanced equipment over the next decade, reinforcing its commitment to strengthen the domestic defense industrial base.
