Ricky has been seen at her Eternal Sunshine tour, and she has even switched up her lyrics to insist everything is good with the pair.‌In her song thank u next, Ariana namechecks most of her exes and whilst she usually sings, 'Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,' she has started switching up the lyrics.‌Her new lyrics include 'Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he’s still got my back' as well as 'Wrote some songs about Ricky / And they still kinda slap', referencing that they are on good terms.‌Now, a source has revealed that Ariana and Ricky are growing close once again. They said: "Ariana has always considered Ricky a friend. She’s not held ill will against him. Ricky is dependable, trustworthy and very supportive."Ariana feels she can be herself around Ricky. They have a similar, smart, dry sense of humour. They’re not jumping into anything serious right away, but Ari is happy to have him back in her life. Ricky has always been a friend and confidant. He has such great, positive energy, makes her laugh, and she enjoys spending time with him."It comes after Ariana split from her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, who played Boq alongside Ariana's Glinda in the hit movie.
