Karnataka BankMUMBAI: Karnataka Bank has partnered with CredAble to launch its first fully digital supply chain finance (SCF) platform as the lender seeks to expand technology-led working capital financing for MSMEs and double its SCF portfolio during the current financial year.The partnership forms part of the bank's digital transformation strategy. CredAble will provide the technology platform to help scale digital working capital financing across the bank's SCF business.Karnataka Bank, which has operated for more than 100 years, serves more than 14 million customers through a network of over 950 branches. MSME financing accounts for nearly one-third of its business.The bank plans to onboard large corporate anchors and expand its supply chain finance business through the platform. It will digitise programme setup, participant onboarding, transaction processing, monitoring and reporting.The platform includes multi product SCF capabilities, workflow based approvals, digital documentation, real time transaction visibility, portfolio monitoring, audit trails and MIS reporting. It is expected to reduce turnaround time by 40%, enable supplier onboarding three times faster, reduce manual intervention and support same day transaction processing.The bank said the platform will help standardise operations and expand supply chain finance across multiple corporates, industries, geographies and customer segments.Raghavendra Srinivas Bhat, md and ceo, Karnataka Bank, said, "At Karnataka Bank, our focus is on delivering innovative, technology-led banking solutions that create lasting value for our customers.
