As the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group begins work on its 2026-2030 country strategy for Trinidad and Tobago, the institution’s country representative Julian Belgrave says it intends to build on recent gains through sustainable public and private sector initiatives.“We are still very much in the early stages, but what I can assure the people of Trinidad and Tobago is that we will continue to build sustainably on the progress already achieved, particularly through public and private sector interventions, as we prepare for the next country strategy cycle, which will run from 2026 to 2030,” Belgrave told Express Business.
