Bengaluru-based E3 Electric.Ai, a deeptech electric mobility startup developing AI-powered electric scooters, has raised Rs 100 crore in a Series A funding round comprising equity and debt.
The investment was led by BluVenture Holdings, a global venture capital firm.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, strengthen the company’s research and development efforts, and expand its market presence across India ahead of the commercial launch of its first scooter, E3 TRION.
The funding comes at a time when India’s electric two-wheeler market is entering a new phase.
While early growth was driven largely by the shift from petrol to electric vehicles, companies are increasingly competing through software, connected technologies and AI.
