Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft agreement with the government of the Syrian Arab Republic on cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant resolution (No. 685-r), dated July 13, 2026, was published on the government's official website.

"The draft agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Syrian Arab Republic on cooperation in mine action in the area of humanitarian demining is hereby approved," the document states.

Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Ihor Bezkaravainyi has been authorized to sign the agreement on Ukraine's behalf.
